Open Studio with Garth Jergenson (collaboration with Joi Arcand, Tim Dallett, Clark Ferguson, Karen Polowick and Donna Wawzonek)

Installation, performance, video -- analog television equipment, chairs, sculptures (mirrors, books, lightbrites, beer cans, Macintosh Classic computers), overhead projector, drywall, paint. Installation was approximately 8' x 30' x 70', performance was 46 minutes in length, video is 22 minutes. 2008.

During a residency at Church Basement (Saskatoon) the church was converted into a fake television studio which was used as a site for a performance in front of a live studio audience. The document of this performance will then edited down to a broadcast length 'pilot' television show. The content for the performance was formatted as an artist's "Open Studio" on a community television network in which I discussed and explained my work to the host Garth Jergenson (played by Clark Ferguson) and the audience, who were invited to ask pre-rehearsed questions.
