Orinoco

Orinoco is a single channel video which is shot from a bug's eye perspective. The video consists of a camera being pushed through a mowed suburban lawn. Projected large on the wall, the effect of the video creates a sense of the paranoia one might feel lost within a seemingly endless rainforest or swamp. The body is implicated in this navigation by its reduction to an almost microscopic level, but also in the way that the video implies a new embodiment or identity.
