TOWERS

TOWERS consisted of a series of performances, sculptures and an informal reading group which investigated current issues related to gentrification, condominium development and the role of the arts in these processes. The exhibition focused on the cycle of development pursued through gentrification, with specific parts of the exhibition devoted respectively to construction, decay and re-development. The re-development portion of the exhibition also included a collaborative performance in which individuals helped to dismantle what was left of the installation and prepare the gallery for the next exhibition.
